Details of our training sessions, including where/when to meet are shown below. Social-distancing and other measures to comply with Covid restrictions will be in place. Very ocasionally there are last minute changes to session plans and where possible we will list those here.
|Monday||Little Feet||Meet at 7pm by the Church Passage gate entrance to Bushy Park in Hampton Wick. Anyone coming along for the first time should email their contact details in advance to Little Feet so we know who to expect.||Read more|
||Hampton Hill Group||
This is the smallest* group in the Stragglers and meets at 7:30pm by the Hampton Hill Gate to Bushy Park (opposite the United Reformed Church)).
|Tuesday||Speed / Endurance||
07:15 Coached Session: meet at Teddington Gate in Bushy Park This is a an interval session for men and ladies with a 5k time currently faster than 20 minutes for 5k.
09:30 Quality Session: meet at Teddington Gate in Bushy Park. Warmed up and ready for strides. This is an interval session. You do need to be fit to train.
10:30am Meet at Teddington Gate for a structured session including warm-ups, drills, technique and running (fast intervals and sprints). Suitable for beginners and anybody returning to running or from injury (5k in 26 mins or slower). Contact Sophie Biggs for more information.
19:30 Quality Session: meet at Teddington Gate in Bushy Park. Warmed up and ready for strides. This is an interval session. You do need to be fit to train.
We are also looking for another leader to take an "all abilities" group meeting at 10:30am at Teddington Gate in Bushy Park (so watch this space, or contact Kev Best if you might be interested in leading the group).
||Thames Ditton Group||Meet on Giggs Hill Green, opposite the cricket club, just before 7pm. Runners will be directed to their relevant pace group of 6 to set off at 7pm, after Carol has taken each group's photo.

Meet at Riverside Drive, Ham, by the path to Teddington Lock ready to start running at 6:30pm. There will be the following groups:
For a few weeks we will also trial a second session at 7:30pm led by Simon Brazil &/or Kevin Price. It would be helpful but not essential if new or irregular attendees could email Phil Davies so that we have their contact details.
|Saturday||Tempo or Fartlek||Meet at 8:45 by Teddington Gate in Bushy Park.
1. During restrictions all training will be in groups of 6.
2. The times above are start times ( on the dot), warm up and drills need to be completed before starting the session. You will be advised not to take part if you jump off your bike at the last minute and consider yourself warmed up and ready to go.
|Sunday,||Steady Run - Bushy Park||This attracts runners of all abilities. Meet at 9am in The Pheasantry carpark for a group warm-up/mobilisation session. The group then sets-off as one but soon separates into small groups or solo runners.The course varies from 5k to 10k to eight miles and beyond - usually in Bushy Park and on the towpath between Hampton Court and Kingston. Most runners hang-around afterwards for a stretch and a coffee.|
|Sunday,||Long Run - Richmond Park||If you are interested in attending please email Phil Davies who will confirm whether a run is planned and the start details. Runs will be 10-13 miles long. Pace is likely to be 8:30 - 8:45 (minutes per mile) as preference will be given to trail routes, with a few hills thrown in.|
