Summer Grand Prix 2022
We are delighted to announce the 2022 Stragglers Summer Grand Prix. The series of ten events kicks off with the Club 10k on Sunday 24 April in Bushy Park and is rounded off with the Wedding Day 7k on 29 July.
In total there is one half marathon, 3 x 10ks, 1 x 7 miler, 2 x 5 milers, 1 x 7k and 2 x 5k.
There are a number of mob matches including with Wimbledon Windmilers on 21 May at Bushy parkrun and with Ranelagh on 18 June at Old Deer parkrun as well as the usual competition with 26.2 at the Claygate Country 5 (CC5).

Scoring
Grand Prix Points
- Separate Male and Female competitions

Every runner scores 10 points for each race they finish
- Bonus of 25 points to 1 point for the first 25 Stragglers in each race
- Max score for each race is 35
- Your best 4 scores for each race are totalled – max possible score is 140
- Where there is a tie after 4 races, the score in the 5th, and then 6th races are used to determine positions in the table.
- Minimum 4 races to win an award
Grand Prix Awards
- Male and female with the highest number of points
- Male and female hero - for running the most races (in the event of a tie the lowest score wins)
- Highest age-grade performance for men and women in any race

Gold, silver and bronze awards in each of the following categories:
- Senior Women, F35, F45, F55, F65, F75
- Senior Men, M40, M50, M60, M70, M80
- The categories are based on your age at the first event (24/4/22)
- Most improved male and female runner - at the discretion of the team captains
