Tuesdays - Thames Ditton Group
The format for these evenings is Structured Training with a different activity each week, repeated on a monthly basis.
If you have run 5 miles at 9.30 min mile pace, or 5-6 miles at sub-9 min. mile pace, or 6-7 miles at 8 min. mile pace you will enjoy the Tuesday workout and we look forward to seeing you. However, if you are a beginner or perhaps haven’t run for a long time then Little Feet on Monday evening would be the most appropriate group for you to start with and then come along on Tuesdays once you are comfortable with the above distances and times.
The first Tuesday of the month we have a slightly shorter run and then come back to the Club where we can use the showers and changing facilities,for this evening only, before going over to the Angel Pub for a drink and bite to eat. However, if you are not able to join us at the Pub you are still very welcome to just come for the run.
For the other training sessions we usually stretch after the activity and then go home for our dinner and shower rather than showering at the club so that it makes the evening a bit shorter/earlier.
The second Tuesday of the month is the Measured Mile Time Trial, the third Tuesday is a Pyramids session (all will be explained before the session starts), the fourth Tuesday is Hills. If there is a fifth Tuesday in the month then either we organise a run over Telegraph Hill or it is a surpirse exercise - to be explained on the evening.
