  Ranelagh Harriers A very long established road and cross-country club. They are based not very far from us, with a club house behind the Dysart Arms at the foot of Star and Garter Hill. We are often to be seen at each other's events.

Welsh Castles The Welsh Castles Relay 200 miles from Caernarvon to Cardiff, run as a staged relay over a week-end.

  Association of International Marathons This gives you links to the web sites, and e-mail addresses, for all the big marathons round the world
 
  Paris Versailles A really big one in France. It is just a tad over 10 miles, but it seems to be France's answer to the Great North Run.
 
  Guide to French running If you want to run in France, you may find what you want here, but it will take a bit of searching. Although there appears to be an English version, you will get thrown back into the French text, so have a dictionary ready
 
  LDWA Surrey Organisers of the Punchbowl Marathon
