Summary: Run on a mild sunny day on a dry, fast course.  Stragglers' best-ever result in Division 1, beating our 2006 opener by a single point, and the welcome sight of new, younger runners joining the ranks.  Achieved despite two or three notable absences at the front, suggesting an encouraging new resilience in the tail.
