Cycling with The Stragglists
The Stragglists is a social cycling group affiliated to The Stragglers Running Club and British Cycling.
A cycling club based in the Kingston upon Thames, Teddington, Hampton Court, Thames Dittons areas with weekly rides, we are organised by cyclists.
We generally ride out each week on road bikes.

We cycle to have fun, share time with friends and we never leave anybody behind.
We ride throughout the year depending on weather conditions. If it's wet or icy you may find that the ride is cancelled as safety remains a priority.
We use Whatsapp groups and a mobile app called Spond to schedule rides and track attendees.
Club Run & Other Rides
The Stragglists meet weekly on Sundays at 9:00am.
Ocassionally, mid-week rides also take place.
Two groups are generally scheduled to reflect both speed and distances covered. Everyone should enjoy their ride.
-
The Angel Riders cycle at 15-17mph/23-27kph over distances from 45-60miles/70-100kms,
-
The Social Climbers cycle at 12-15mph/19-24kph over slightly shorter distances of 35-50miles/55-80 kms.
Where we ride:
We often head for the North Downs and Surrey Hills as the general qualities of this area are ideal for road cycling. Occasionally we head off in the other direction on on a flatter route towards Windsor and the surrounding areas.
Coffee stops are planned roughly halfway through the ride at favourite establishments, so don't forget to bring some cash or a card.
Most rides will commence at either Angel Inn (in Thames Ditton, situated by the war memorial at the junction of Angel Road and Portsmouth Road), Giggs Hill Green (KT7 0AU) or Zizzi Restaurant, Hampton Court (KT8 9EU) at 09:00am on Sundays.
