Oli sets a high bar with marathon PB

Oli Bowers wiped more than 10 minutes off his marathon PB at Newport this weekend, finishing 7th in 2:29:18.

Five Stragglers travelled to Wales for their Spring marathon. Jim Desmond finished in 3:08:49 with Duncan McConnell right behind him in 3:08:52. Roy Kemp (3:26:37) and John Taylor (3:55:58) also competed.

Stragglers also raced at the Manchester Marathon where Simon Mumme was the first to finish in 2:50:15 followed by Andrew Dell'anno (3:46:59), Paul Moore (5:00:32) and Ann Jachmich (5:58:18).

Finally Felix Adama raced in Bonn, finishing in a time of 3:11:57.
