Phil gets mobbed on his big day

A Stragglers mob turned up at Richmond parkrun to help Phil Davies celebrate his 70th birthday and 500th parkrun.

Over 50 members ran the parkrun before joining Phil for fizz and cakes. Pavel Przepiorski was the first Straggler to finish in 18:00 and 5th place while Tara Holt was fastest Straggler woman, finishing in 26:03 and 173rd position. And what about the man himself? Phil appeared to be taking it easy but still clocked up a 26:06 time.

Meanwhile back at Bushy, Lisa Bailey was first woman at the parkrun finishing 7th in 17:11.
