It was a busy weekend of racing with Stragglers producing fabulous performances in the heat. Over 30 club members competed at the Ranelagh 10k - a Summer Grand Prix event - and were led home by Harry Tivnen who finished second in 32:42.
Rhys Doherty wasn't far behind Harry, finishing fifth in 32:55. Lisa Bailey was our first woman across the line, and like Harry she finished second in 36:50 while Emma Henston finished third in 37:04. Those results followed by Sonia Badeira's 16th place (41:01) and Lex Prince's 20th spot (41:18) gave Stragglers first place among the women's teams.
Further west Sophie Biggs was the second woman to finish in the TEC Black Mountains Ultra, completing an impressive 57.63km in South Wales. And earlier in the weekend and even further west, Rob Eveson won silver in the 25-29 age group at the European Aquathlon in Coimbra, Portugal.
