While many in the club were at the Surrey League XC second match, a hardy group of fast runners headed to Brighton, ignoring bad weather warnings as Storm Claudia wreaked havoc in the north of the country.
Their efforts were rewarded with some excellent times. Leading the way was Pam Whitter who won her age group with a time of 43:47 which was also within the England Masters qualification time.

Scott Singleton was the first Straggler to finish in 34:42, followed by Andrew Simpson (37:58) and Rob Chambers (38:18). Harri Daniel wasn't far behind and her finish time of 38:24 was a 30-second PB. Closer to home James Ward completed theh Fulham 10k in 58:12.
Congratulation to everyone who ran.
