Wokingham the place to be

A large number of Stragglers were racing on Sunday with Wokingham Half the place to be as 29 members completed the course.

Jim Lurkins was the first Straggler to finish in 53rd and a time of 1:15:05. Sarah Holt was our fastest woman and 12th overall, finishing in 1:18:27 which gave her third place in her age category.

Wokingham delivered on its reputation as a fast course with nine Stragglers notching up PBs and two matching their best times for a half.

Elsewhere Sophie Biggs was the second woman to finish in the North Downs Ridge 50k finishing in 4:36:10. And four Stragglers completed
