Cabbage Patch 4 sees a record crowd

The annual Boxing Day Cabbage Patch 4 attracted a record turnout with 157 runners participating, many of them Stragglers but joined also by family, friends and members of other local clubs including 26.2 and Bearcats.

Harry Tivnen was the first home in 21:19 followed by Pete Gregorowski and Pavel Przepiorski. Nic Douglas was the first woman to finish in 23:02, followed by Sophie Biggs and Claire Curtin.

Harry, Pete, Pavel, Nic and Sophie won their age groups as did Michael Morris (Open 55-64), Phil Hammet (65-74), Michael Holden (75-84), Glady Gartland (Senior Women), Tara Holt (55-64), Pam Whitter (65-74).
Tom Street won the junior title.
