Green Belt teams finish strongly

Our Stage 22 runners in the Green Belt Relay finished strongly, capping a weekend of good performances and excellent planning by Josh Ingold and his team captains.

Oli Bowers finished 4th, Freysen Maritz was 10th and Lucy Chambers finished in 18th.

Freysen and the rest of the Super Vets team finished second in their category behind Ranelagh, in 24 hours 02:27 minutes - a time that was faster than last year’s winning Super Vets time.

The Open Men finished 8th overall and 4th in their category with a time of 24:01:15 - just over three minutes behind the winning team. Our women were 3rd in their category and 20th overall in a time of 24:03:59.

Tracey Lenthall and Glady Gartland both won their stages while their were top 10 finishes from Scott Singleton and Crispin Allen on Stage 16, Austin Molnar on 19, Alex Willson on 20 and Pavel Piorowski on 21.
