Marathon heroes bask in the glory

On Sunday we celebrated the heroic efforts of some of the club's marathon runners including a handful who had completed their 26.2 just hours earlier. Robert Hodge was amongst the first to complete his marathon having raced at Newport on April 13.

Ian Hawes and Andrew Dell'Anno travelled a bit further having completed Boston at the start of the week. And Simon Brazil, Oli Bowers and Jim Desmond were finishers in Southampton, having taken turns in guiding Simon Webb around the course.

Roy Kemp, Tina Sheppard, Peter Wedderburn, and Alison Parsons all raced in London but looked remarkably refreshed.

And they were joined by Chantal Rochester, Orla White and Alma Dedic all of whom completed the virtual version of London.
