Stragglers go the distance for long races

While most of the club were racing or volunteering in Twickenham this weekend, some went in search of longer distances, and were happy to travel quite a way to find them. Claire Curtin and Nick Davidson went to Amsterdam for the marathon, finishing in 3:01:56 and 5:16:56 respectively.

Daniel Angel tackled the Palma marathon, finishing in 4:53:10 while Pamela McHutchon completed the Dramathon along the Speyside Way in 4:21:31. Jo Taman was a bit closer to home, in Abingdon where she completed the 26.2 miles in 3:45:20.

Oscar Murphy was another Straggler tourist having travelled to Rome where he finished the half marathon in 1:54:56.
