Stragglers shine in Norfolk relay

A team of 17 Stragglers completed this year’s Round Norfolk Relay, producing the club’s best finishing position in recent years. The race is a continuous baton relay covering 200 around the perimeter of Norfolk.

 The Stragglers finished 21st of 58 and their finishing time was 2 minutes 6 seconds off our predicted time of 25 hours 22 minutes. This was the second best predicted time.

 Stand out legs came from Chris Coates (5th on leg 17), Dean Morley (9th on leg 16), Josh Ingold (14th on leg 11), Pavel Przepiorski (17th on leg 10) and Helen Davies (19th on leg 8) who scored an age-grade of 82.3%. Patricia Ronksley achieved an age grade of 85.9% on leg 6.
