Stragglers tackle the longer distances

It was another weekend of longer distance races this weekend, with many members tackling half marathons. Some didn't have to go too far with another Hampton Court Half happening on Sunday. Simon Connolly was the first Straggler to finish in 1:17:56, followed by Adam Davies in a time of 1:28:51. Tony Finn (1:38:50), Ted Fraser (1:44:00), Leoni Thomas (2:09;46) and Joe Tong (2:31:30) also completed the race.

Dan Strang (1:24:48), Duncan Scoble (1:55:42) and Wendy Stokes (1:59:26) travelled to Bath for their half marathons while Nick Davidson notched up a PB of 1:51:55 in Liverpool.

Robert Hodge travelled furthest for his weekend race, competing in the Lentemarathon in the Netherlands and finishing in 3:19:38, while Sophie Biggs tackled the longest race, the Centurion Hundred Hills 50km. She finished in 4:49:15 and was fourth woman while winning her age group. John Thompson also raced this weekend, finishing the Hampton Court 10k on Saturday in 59:48, while Pam Whitter and Sally Boulton both won their age groups at the Middlesex Masters XC.
