Strong performances at Surrey XC

Match 3 of the Surrey XC league saw strong performances and a great turnout by both teams.

Sarah Holt brought the women’s team home with a superb 7th place finish while Andrew Hess was the fastest finisher in the men’s team in 13th place. Andrew was one of a number of new Stragglers to perform strongly including Sahira Don (23rd), Ashley Jamalu (45th) and Imogen Deakin (42nd).

The women’s A team finished 7th while the B team were 8th. At the men’s event the A team finished 7th and the B team were 3rd. Malcolm Fletcher was the fastest V65 whole Sarah and Lisa Bailey were 1st and 2nd in their age group and Sophie Biggs was fourth.
