Sunday's Kingston Break-fest Run saw many Stragglers racing one of the three distances on offer or marshalling along the familiar course and enjoying the change in weather. Nick Little was our first finisher in the longest, 20-mile race, finishing in a time of 2:26:50 and was shortly followed over the line by our fastest woman Sonia Bandeira in 2:33:59.

While 10 members completed the 20-miles, only one signed up for the 16-miler, and that was Alison Parsons who finished in 3:11:46. The shortest distance - 8 miles - attracted a number of our Couch to 5k graduates of whom Sophy Elloy was the fastest at 1:21:12. However, the first to complete the distance was Pamela Mchutchon who crossed the line in 1:07:30.
Elsewhere Dean Morley completed the Steyning Stinger marathon across the South Downs in 4:40:07 while Adam Davies did the somewhat flatter Battersea Park half marathon on Saturday in 1:40:07.
