A weekend of Halves

This weekend saw many members participating in half marathons in preparation for this Spring's marathons. The Surrey Half in Woking was the most popular with 10 Stragglers racing.

Tom Gwynn was the first to finish in 1:18:08 while Claire Curtin was our first female finisher in a new PB of 1:28:50.

Nicky Hornzee and Sarah Holt at Fleet

Five Stragglers completed the Fleet Half where Sarah Holt was the first finisher in 1:17:37 and Jim Desmond the first Stragglers man to finish in1:31:39. Nicky Hornzee notched up a new PB of 1:23:15.

And, a little further afield, Wendy Stokes finished the Bath Half in1:56:15.
