Over 20 Stragglers raced in Wales this weekend. Most of them were participating in the Welsh Castles Relay - a two-day, 20-stage relay from Caernarfon to Cardiff.

Kevin Price ran the first of 10 stages on Saturday while Martin Vivian wrapped up the day with Stage 10. Oli Bowers running stage seven, produced the best result of the weekend, finishing 22nd of all 61 runners.
Robert Hodge who with wife Heather, managed the team and organised all the logistics, opened Day 2 by running the 11th stage while Ian Robertson brought the team home with stage 20. Nick Little produced the best result of the day, finishing 28th on stage 15, while Austin Molnar finished 30th on the stage before. Stragglers finished 45th.

Meanwhile in Swansea. Stragglers women were competing for England in a masters half marathon event. Sarah Holt was our fastest finisher in 1:19:15, followed by Lisa Bailey (1:20:02), Nicky Hornzee (1:24:36), Claire Curtin (1:27:31) and Merilyn Davis (1:43:02). Nicky won silver in her age groups while Sarah and Merilyn took bronze.
