Bank holiday means more time for racing

Stragglers spent the Bank holiday long weekend pounding pavements and climbing hills. In Belfast Jim Desmond clocked up another marathon, finishing in 3:18:13 while Peter Colwill completed the race in 4:13:10.

In Worthing, Stuart Thompson (right) and Paul Keeler both completed the Half, finishing first and third in their age category. Stuart finished in 2:02:45 while Paul’s time was 2:04:18.

In the Henley hills Sophie Biggs and David Stevenson were fastest pair and took the mixed pair title in the Henley Rapid Relays. Both ran 28k in four hours.
And finally, Richard Bowes finished the Melmerby 10k in 47:09.
