Firestation 10k draws a crowd

There was a strong turnout of Stragglers at the Leatherhead Firestation 10k despite the event on the day after the Surrey League matches.

Austin Molnar was the first Straggler to finish in 5th position and a time of 38:23, closely followed by Bert Smith in 8th and a time of 39:47. Lex Prince was the first woman to finish, in 14th position and a time of 41:10.

Also on Sunday at the Dorney Lake half marathon, Jo Taman completed the course in 1:42:23, while Duncan Scobie and Wendy Stokes ran together, finishing in 2:00:42.
