Handicap continues to be a big draw

Seventy Stragglers completed the August 5k handicap, the fourth in the series and the penulitmate Summer Grand Prix event. Amanda Horner won the event in a time of 27:23, with Alfie Rowan finishing second and Emily Barrow third.

The fastest finisher was Pete Gregorowski. who completed the 5k in 17:38, with Pavel Przepiorski finishing as second fastest man and Alistair Hall third. Nicky Hornzee was fastest woman with a time of 18:36, followed by Claire Curtin and Lucy Chambers. David Scotten took the prize for being closest to his predicted time.

The final grand prix event is the Memorial Relay on Thursday 14 August
