There was another great turnout for the latest Junior Handicap event on Thursday, despite the heat. As it was relays night, the adults were pressed into running with teams consisting of one adult (or over 15-year-old) and two juniors, with everyone running two laps. There were enough eager participants to make up 16 teams.

The bigger people ran first and it was no surprise to see Lisa Bailey handover first. However, the rules prevented her running with daughter Eve, who proved speediness runs in the family, by helping her teammates Frederik Hutchings and Eddie Ireland win.

Congratulations to everyone who ran, particularly those adults who don't make a habit of running races, and thanks to the volunteers.
