After 12 events over seven wet winter months, the Winter Grand Prix is over and Pavel Przepiorski and Nic Douglas can be crowned as the winners of the Open and Women's events.

Pavel topped the Open rankings with a maximum of 175 points from his five scoring events, ahead of Peter Gregorowski (171 points) and Austin Molnar (166). The three of them won their respective age categories, and both Pavel and Austin completed all 12 events. Other age group winners were Crispin Allen (O55), Malcolm Fletcher (O65) and Les Brown (O85). In O75 we had three members finish with 10 points - Jim Sell, Michael Holden and Peter Buckley.
In the Women's rankings Nic finished with 173 points ahead of Lex Prince (167) and Becky Gravell (164). All were age group winners along with Tara Holt (W55), Merilyn Davis (W65) and Merran Sell (W75). None of the women completed all 12 events but Tracey Lenthall raced 11 times. 117 men competed in the grand prix and 88 women.

The Summer Grand Prix starts next weekend with a mob match against Wimbledon Windmilers at Morden parkrun. Please note that there are 13 events in the grand prix, and not 14 as previously advertised, and members have to complete six events to qualify for an award.
