Sunday's Valencia Marathon attracted a large entry from the club with some of our fastest men and women making the journey to Spain for the big event.
Sarah Holt produced an impressive two minute PB to finish first among the group in 2:43:03, just ahead of Lisa Bailey with a time of 2:46:49.
James Bowell was the first Stragglers man to finish in 2:49:28 - a new PB - followed by Andrew Simpson in 2:56:03. Mark Coop who finished third among the men also notched up a PB of over four minutes with a time of 3:01:28. Steven Wu (3:09:30), Steve Smith (3:21:29), Martin Vivian (3:24:20), Dean Morley (3:33:36) and Gareth Pritchard (3:40:51) were the other finishers.
Closer to home Scott Singleton completed the Goodwood Marathon in 2:48:13 while Chloe Binley ran the Victoria Park Half in 1:26:59.
