Stragglers turned up in force for the annual Valentines 10k on Sunday organised by local rivals 26.2 RRC. With 60 club members racing, Kevin Price was able to collect the mob trophy, while Rhys Doherty and Harri Daniel were both first finishers.
Rhys led the field home in 33:20 which was particularly impressive given his second place finish at Saturday's XC in Lloyd Park. He was closely followed over the line by Thomas Ziegel who finished third in 34:41. Jim Lurkins was the third Straggler finisher, finishing 8th in 35:24.
Harri was the first woman to finish when she crossed the line in 37th in 39:39. Sonia Bandeira was the second female finisher coming in 50th in 42:33, while
Lex Prince was the club's third woman to finish and was placed 69th (44:04).
Well done to everyone who competed and survived the 8am start!
