Women win at Ranelagh 10k

Our women took the team prize at the Ranelagh 10k which was part of the Surrey Road League and Surrey 10k championship. Lisa Bailey (36:29) and Sarah Holt (37:24) were first and second finishers for the club, with Lisa finishing third woman overall. Nicky Hornzee (39:06) and Hari Daniel (39:26) made up the team.

Crispin Allen was our fastest man finishing in (37:27) ahead of Austin Molnar (38:01) and Andrew Simpson (39:01). Lisa took the W35 age group while Nicky was first in W45 and Patricia Ronksley took the W65 age title. The race was also a Summer Grand Prix event and 49 Stragglers participated.

Further afield Ian Robertson completed the Midnight Sun marathon in 3:36:28 while Ann Woods ran the half marathon in 2:04:26.
