River relay - another summer success

The weekend saw the club deliver another successful annual event as 63 teams completed the River Relay.

ERR & RAN Wombats were the first team home in a time of 2:45:38. The fastest Stragglers team - Snow Leopards - finished fifth with Scott Singleton bringing the team home, after runs by Alex Willson, Austin Molnar, Claire Curtin and Andrew Simpson.

The club retained the title of fastest women as the all women team of Pamela McHutchon, Tracey Lenthall, Sophie Biggs, Lucy Hoseason and Emma Henston finished 12th in 3:16:57.

Fourteen teams of Stragglers competed and a large number of members volunteered. Thanks to all for making the race such a success!
