Stagglers women successfully defended their team title at the Cabbage Patch 10 on Sunday. Sarah Holt led the team home, finishing in 57:54 and fifth among the women. Phoebe Law was 8th, Nic Douglas 15th and Harri Daniel 23rd. Over 65 Stragglers competed in the race while many more volunteered. Oli Bowers was the club’s first finisher in 25th and a time of 56:48. Weeks after taking silver in the European sprint triathlon championships, Lynda Chase has done it again with a bronze in the World triathlon championships in Wollongong, Australia. Lynda finished third in her age category, W70-74, and is pictured above with silver medallist Lesley Kernaghan. While mixing with the world's best triathletes she also took the opportunity to grab a picture with Olympic silver medallist Hayden Wilde.
